Aht Uh Mi Hed

Was supposed to be running yesterday, but instead made this bracelet out of old bobby pins and some chain from a necklace(that I had to sacrifice). I will be so glad to go back home and be able to use all my normal materials. It's been really hard to find things to make other things out of as the French are so don't-keep-or-buy-anything-we-don't-need-y.

Rainy Monday. Isn't that a Shiny Toy Guns song?

Who the hell am I kidding, I know very well it's a song by the Shiny Toy Guns...being their biggest closet fan.
So it was raining and the plants outside my room looked oh so lovely, and so I opened my window and climbed through to take some pictassss. One of the benefits of living on the first floor for the first time in my life.

Then I decided to whip out some of the jewelry I made to photograph it. I had this whole image of these awesome Dan Powell images with the juxtaposition of the bright jewelry against the watery green but it ended up kinda lame. Oh who just said that creepy ass sentence about a kid I barely know? Wasn't me.
Classic Morgan fail. When I was holding the camera, I figured I might as well take a picture of myself seeing as I haven't done that since god knows when. And hey, It turned out pretty well! Until I decided that a pale sweater would look better with everything so I went and changed. Came back and tried to take the same picture. I just proved my own point-- thumbnail sketches and first drafts always fuck your life up.

Lola L-O-L-A Loooola

I have been meaning to post this picture of my credit card jewelry. Ok yeah, I didn't just come up with the idea...the bracelet is actually from a book (which I forget the name of at the moment) however I did make up the necklace!

After wishing I had an ear cuff I decided to pull my shit together and take the initiative to make one myself. I was actually pretty surprised that I managed to make one out of the very little materials I brought with me to France. Literally just brought about a foot of wire, and a foot of chain. Happened to be just enough to get 'er done.

Tried to paint some stars the other day...success? I think not, but it makes a cool painting none the less.
